Tea Break - Some Like it Hot

Summer can be sweet, with a light breeze & the warm evening sun - this, can be the perfect way to enjoy your evening tea. With everything bustling with life ... it's lovelier and fascinating. Plants of gloom are green, with every bud a giggle with laughter, every flower crowned with gold and all the birds residing in their nests ... All this happens under the magic of spring air.

Combining the right ambiance with simple and casual presentation can be splendid for an evening with your fabulous company or with that special one of yours. Not to forget, the charm of an unforgettable table setting lies in its simplicity.

This tea pot of mine which I picked up years ago from a dusty corner of a shop is very special to me, as I admire its beautifully wired cane handle. Again it's a mix and match of whites here to lighten and enrich the atmosphere. It's a relaxing time, so hit the deck for a taste.

Real birds nest I collected from a park on one of our travels.

  1. This is very special - from the wonderful teapot to that unique holder for spoons and napkins. I don't drink tea that often, but this is an inspiration and love how you've brought textures and styles together. Great job!

Diwali With Lights

The word Deepavali stems from the Sanskrit words, Deepa meaning ‘Light’ and Avali meaning ‘Row’. It means a row of lights and illumination is undoubtedly its main attraction. Deepavali, the festival of lights, even to this day, projects the rich and glorious past of our country and teaches us to uphold the true values of life.    THE FLICKERING LIGHT OF A FLAME IS TRULY MAGICAL. Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M
