A Sea Front Seduction ... A Fishy Tablescape.

The moon, the twinkling stars and the water of the ocean are indeed the grandeur of the universe. A change in priorities and the values of modern life has left many of us disconnected from the marvels of nature & alienated us from the wonders of the universe. Few have the ability to turn the wealth of nature as a gift of energy, happiness, pleasure & enjoyment.

It is fascinating to arrange a dinner on a soft full moon night on a porch or in a candle lit gazebo near the blue waterfront & it can be quite different from the usual dining. To watch the luxurious moon light fall on the sea bed, to hear the sound of the waves, to feel the ethereal breeze and  to see the winking starry sky are indeed relaxing and enjoyable moments that one can bet on. A beautiful table scape to indulge to, is a fine dining delight & some lilting tunes and the candle light  can set off a romantic and languorous mood for the die heart romantics, as the night recedes to another bright day.

As we all know, black is the color of the night, I have used black and blue, mixed in for the table ware, representing the night sky and the ocean. I enjoyed doing this scape and clicking these pictures. Hope you too believe that it is fun and refreshing in having a moon light dinner near the sea front ...

  3. Whereas your table is "MY DREAM TABLE"! Your tablescape is stunning, I love all your elements starting from the gorgeous dinnerware, the little fish scattered around the table, you described it so vividly that I can feel myself eating in grandeur at sea level..as you know, I live in the high Andean Mountains of Ecuador, my daughter lives at sea level and I love it too! Fabulous, you are so talented. Thank you for dropping by sweet Sujatha. I'm going to follow you if I haven't yet and hope you like to do the same. Comer on over for tea at my cloche tea party! Hugs,

  4. Your bio and thoughts about living life elegantly intriged me as much as your beautiful tablescape. Your description took me to a place I'd never been, sitting by the water at moonlight. That must go on my "bucket list". If you were close by, you'd definately be a pal of mine!

  5. Hi again, Crystal! First, thank you for the information about monsoon season that you so graciously provided. I didn't see the reply until earlier today when I was flipping through your blog. Bats double the size of a kite, huh? I just never thought that a bat could be that big. I always think of them as being about the size of a small seagull. Thank you for all the information! I love the chance to learn new things, and it's so great to do that through blogging! Now I'm going to ask another question: I am noticing that beautiful seashell spoon in this post. It appears to be hand-crafted rather than manufactured. Is it? It's one of the most beautiful pieces of flatware I have ever seen! If it is manufactured, they REALLY did a great job of giving it a fabulous hand-crafted appearance!!! You really have some cool items like those fish (I LOVE that big white one!). I hope all is well in your part of the world. We are still very, very hot here with a drought that has ruined a lot of crops and is affecting livestock. There is no immediate sign of relief ahead, but we can still be hopeful! :-) Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Teascape with Marigolds:)

Few days from now it's time to welcome & celebrate season Spring with natures design & colors in decors. The colorful flowers, fruits and vegetables with their skin tones & herbs of Spring are a delight and in adding them in day to day styling.  Have you ever fell in love with Marigold flowers? Well if you haven't it's time for you to do so. A bucket full of warm yellow frilled golden blooms in the garden genuinely made me happy and fall in love with it. The pretty blooms are a joy to behold in one's eye. A teas cape against the nods of  the golden blossoms and the tangerine evening sky say it all. The evening sky was getting ready to welcome ' Super Blue Blood Moon' a rare cosmic show by moon the 2018 Lunar eclipse. Wonderful to set an table just before the phenomenon. Also few bright yellow cherry tomatoes resembling to beads and the fragile carrot leaves straight from pots make it a  tranquil display.  I hope this Pre-Spring  garden setting at
