Falling in Love with Fall

Learning is always the best thing to do in life. To learn all about fall and the things associated with this time of year was informative and enjoyable.

Fall can be romantic and poetic with the change of colours & with the first frost and falling leaves.

The season is all about the display of colors in nature & about fruits like Plump Pumpkins, Red Berries, Nuts, Ornamental Gourds, Rosy Pomegranates, along with Apples, Pears, decorative coloured cabbage & pretty-frilled leaves.

Other things include welcoming wreaths, sturdy baskets, potpourri, wooden trugs, pottery bowls jugs, pitchers & terracotta pots.Copper and brass add charm to the season.

Colours most used in Fall include burnt orange, green, golds, browns, reds, pinks, rich mauves and so on.

I have given a finishing touch to this corner with the elements of Fall and it looked beautiful.

Diwali With Lights

The word Deepavali stems from the Sanskrit words, Deepa meaning ‘Light’ and Avali meaning ‘Row’. It means a row of lights and illumination is undoubtedly its main attraction. Deepavali, the festival of lights, even to this day, projects the rich and glorious past of our country and teaches us to uphold the true values of life.    THE FLICKERING LIGHT OF A FLAME IS TRULY MAGICAL. SCENTED POTPOURRI AND NATURALLY DRIED LEAVES ADD TO THE OCCASION.    GO AHEAD AND CREATE AN INVITING DECOR FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO ADD TO THE FESTIVE SPIRIT   A WINDOW LEDGE TRANSFORMED WITH THE ONSET OF THE FESTIVE FERVOUR.THIS IS A WINDOW DRESSING FOR DIWALI   CREATE AND TRANSFORM THE SPACE AND LEAVE AN EPHEMERAL IMPRINT THE RUSTIC AND ETHNIC LOOK OF THE LAMPS. A Wedding to Remember.:)))

When two souls, which have sought each other for however long in the throng, have finally found each other, when they have seen that they are matched, in a word they are alike, compatible and established a union for ever between them. A union illuminated & pure for ever and ever.. This union is love, true love filled with full of sweetest delights & compassion. My second son Capt Siddharth and sweet Saumya tied the knot on 16th Feb. The wedding was a grand event with both the families coming together to bless the wonderful couple. Teascape with Marigolds:)

Few days from now it's time to welcome & celebrate season Spring with natures design & colors in decors. The colorful flowers, fruits and vegetables with their skin tones & herbs of Spring are a delight and in adding them in day to day styling.  Have you ever fell in love with Marigold flowers? Well if you haven't it's time for you to do so. A bucket full of warm yellow frilled golden blooms in the garden genuinely made me happy and fall in love with it. The pretty blooms are a joy to behold in one's eye. A teas cape against the nods of  the golden blossoms and the tangerine evening sky say it all. The evening sky was getting ready to welcome ' Super Blue Blood Moon' a rare cosmic show by moon the 2018 Lunar eclipse. Wonderful to set an table just before the phenomenon. Also few bright yellow cherry tomatoes resembling to beads and the fragile carrot leaves straight from pots make it a  tranquil display.  I hope this Pre-Spring  garden setting at
