Mat Finished Teascape

It's beautiful to see the tropical A lmond tree early in spring, when  it 's long pointed leaves curl and turn pink and orange before falling to the g roun d . T he fallen dried leaves on the gr ound look beautiful too. I admire this and it inspired me to do a tea scape by collecting the leaves from our compound.. I t's always a wonderful feeling to get associated with natures beauty. S ometimes, using a mat on the floor to have tea or coffee , is so relaxing, whether inside the house or in the garden. I have used two different colored mats here for the scapes. T he  mats here are similar to the mats made from papyrus leaf and grass grown on the banks of the river Nile. T hese mats are world famous as well, as they are crafted out of the 'Ko rai' grass ( M arsh R eed plant) which gro ws along the river 'T hambarabarni' which flows thr ough the state of Tamil Na du in Southern India . Scent of Love - Valentine's Day Special

Hi everybody :) H ope y ou ' ll had a grand and great V alentine's Day celebration. It's fabulous to see the beautiful V alentine' Day table settings in many blogs. As I decided to do a scape and shoot for Valentine's, the first thought which occurred to me, was it ought to be do ne in the evening under the stars of twilight. Perhaps after all, R omance does comes alive and the heart does obey the setting . W hen the first stars of the night fall come out & we look upon the moon, among the colorful flowers, the heavy scents of candles lit around & soft music playing.... O f course it is time to sit down by the beauty and unfold the love.  Love is the colour of the sky just before the sun set . I t is all around us and everyday in our lives.
