Plants/Candles in Egg Shells.... choice of the Season:)

This week I got my hands Spring crafty with egg shells. Yes it is a old idea but sure a creative twist for the season. Turned the empty egg shells into home for plants & candles. Quick & easy to make and it could be a fun project for children as well. Children can go, go green this Spring, get their tiny fingers dirty & crafty by filling soil to the shell, for plants. Planting in egg shell can be a personal touch project for kids while they huddle the shells and place in their room window ledge & corners of the home. Also plants and candles in the shell can be best gift for the season. Children can try egg shell plants while the elders can go with candle making. A tea setting near the bay window with egg shell candles & plant gave a Spring look for the evening tea.                                                             Scroll down to read the method to make egg shell candles          How to ma

Lavender Colored Flower# Nest# Eggs#

Nature awakens in Spring with spread of green carpet and with blooms of colorful flowers. The smell of fresh air at this time of the year makes the animals leave their winter homes after hibernating. We see chirping feathery friends fluttering their wings outside the window to concoct nests on tree tops. As often described in poems, about beauty & freshness of Season Spring and true to its saying a bloom of beautiful lavender colored flower (Sandpaper Vine)  in our garden took us by surprise. The flower greeted us one morning with it's tenderness & soothing color and instantly stuck by it's beauty. I was thinking whether to leave it in the creeper or to bring it home. My heart said to take it home. The very next day I did a setting with this beautiful flower by placing it in a tea kettle as a center piece. Added white wares to high light the color & beauty of the flower. Nests & nested eggs among the twigs for Spring decors are always cute.

Evening Coffee Table Setting:)

Hello.....Hope everyone had a wonderful V-day celebration with your loved ones. For me the day went with exchanging of  V-day messages on What's app & Fb with dear and near ones. Well the chilly days here moving away to give way to Spring. Officially it isn't yet Spring in our sub continent. Our Spring season is short lived though everyone look forward to it.     Just doing up a Pre-Spring setting with a recipe on coffee table looked pretty for the evening. Instead of using a runner or a table cloth I placed few old jagged wooden planks which I found and placed the dishes on it. And I loved the texture too which gave a rustic look. The golden marigold along with flickering lights of home made candles looked charming for the evening as well. I turned the cute little sauce bottles into candle container.    Please visit Nap On The Porch Please visit Charm Of Home Please visit Stone gable Please visit How swee
